Season 14 was made up of 8 teams, namely the Southern Dragons, Mount Buller Demons, Baghdad Bombers, West Coast Wonders, Geelong Gumbies, Roys FC, Fighting Furies and the East Side Hawks. The season didn't come without it's controversies, most of them revolved around the leagues most hated posters, Jobe3votes (as he was at the time) as well as a few point deductions for incorrect team submissions and the like.
The final ladder after the home and away season read like this:
Ladder after Round 17
The Southern Dragons were labelled as serious chokers as the were bundled out of the finals in straight sets yet again. The East Side Hawks picked up their first ever wooden spoon just two season after winning the premiership. The Baghdad Bombers went on to secure their third premiership with a gutsy win over the Mount Buller Demons.
The 8-5 Las Vegas Bears come up against the 3-10 Coney Island Warriors in what is expected to be a bit of a one-sided affair. The Bears can secure a place in the finals with a win here but on the other side of the coin, a loss for the Warriors could spell S-P-O-O-N for their season 20 campaign. I can really only see this go one way and that is why;
My tip is the Las Vegas Bears by 32 points.
