We should have all been inspired in our personal lives after the Nat Fyfe we saw on the weekend. To see a true champion stumble through his challenges of injuries and disbelief to come out and do what he did on Sunday. He is a true superstar and deserves more respect than he has sometimes been...
Obviously we don't know if and when Nat is going to be back. His future seems cloudy and he's had no luck at all last couple of years.
I was just thinking though, if he was to be able to get back on the field reliably at something like full fitness and given how awful our midfield has been do...
...was in the air, by almost equally dominating when the ball was in play on the ground.
Watching the pre-season games, and knowing his history Fyfe seems to meet this rarely met criteria.
If his shoulders hold up, does he win the Coleman?
Does he win next year, or at some point before he...
Controversial opinion: can you imagine if we traded Fyfe at the end of 2019 (after he just won a Brownlow)? Could have had added 2 first rounders like Tom Green and Kozzie pickett, who would be playing their 4th season next year and hitting their prime. Is there actually a case to trading out...
Conjecture on Fyfe mounts, not just with playing position but also selection. For Freo to win this year we will have to win 3 finals in a row on the road. It's going to be bloody hard (not impossible) Fyfe is the most important player in these next four games in my opinion. He needs to be...
Too soon?
It'd be a perfect experiment, if he's confident enough in his fitness.
Acres has provided a lot of contested grunt this year and Fyfe is the top candidate in that race.
He could roam that wing and you'd know he'd work it harder than anybody. Great place to take a few hangers as...
Tim Watson raised the issue of the Fyfe injury and his ability to keep the captaincy earlier in the week.
He raised it by saying there was no way Fyfe could continue with his lack of preparation. I am sure Fyfe will once again be elected, by the players as skipper. With maybe a co skipper in...
...docker imo, coz he brought relevance to a club that has been irrelevant for most of its journey.
His period between 2012 - 2018 was pure class, only played 5 games in 2016 when we dropped off the cliff. Coincidence, I think not!
Hopefully gets a flag, as he ****ing deserves one.
Fyfe is Life
Let's see how those kids from Freo like Fyfe and Mundy handle those proud Victorians like Naughton and English.
Our wingers don't king-hit teenagers so it should be a clean contest. Going to be hard for Freo replacing Brad Hill's 8 uncontested possessions and his gut(s)-running away from the...

It'll be interesting to see the result of this bump (sorry I couldn't figure out how to embed the video).
To me, from the "standard" shot from...
Patrick Dangerfield will by 31 be the beginning of the 2021 AFL season. Nat Fyfe will hit 30 by the end of the 2021 season. Dangerfield at 269 games whilst Fyfe 187. Collectively they've won,
- 3x Brownlow Medals
- 11x All Australians (both captains)
- 7x Best and Fairests
Dangerfield played...
Time to slam down the fatties, horse heads, and dog ugly mums on the red carpet and to celebrate N.Fyfe 3 votes from each of the 10 defeats suffered by the purple puefs.
Have at you!!!!
A fantastic win yesterday gives the lads back to back wins to end the hub.
A big question arose and lingers, for coaches and fans alike.
Is Fyfe best in the middle or in the forward line? There’s no doubt Fyfe is the best contested midfielder in the AFL, wills himself to each disposal and puts...
Le Bron goes out of his way to befriend young NBA stars and later recruits them.
Fyfe sent an encouraging text to Robertson when he wasn’t selected on the first day.
Is Fyfe doing our list management team a favor by doing things like this?
Anyway, great work Nat.
Well it’s 2019 Doig Medal tonight. Unfortunately I am out of the country again so won’t be there in person this year and will have to make do with the live stream...
What do folks think, I think it’s difficult to predict with a number of players having really strong years. My prediction...
I genuinely don't know whos better and I thought this would make an entertaining thread.
Compared notable achievements
fyfe
2 brownlows, 2 leigh mathew trophies, 2 B&F, 3 all australians and causing all girls out west having expectations of guys way to high.
Dusty
1 brownlow, 2 norm smiths, 2...
There are so many reasons why we should probably now all consider the GOAT of the AFL era, last night commanding performance to bring in his second Brownlow is just icing on the cake. Infact he’s been that good we’re now talking about changing the award’s name to the Nat.
Or the Fyfey, or the Nat?
I think this idea has merit.
Those alive who were old enough to have seen Mr Brown Low, probably don’t even remember him.
Is there even video footage of him? Fyfe would dominate that guy in every facet of the game, then tea bag him while he pulls down a screamer...
MadMundy asked a great question in the Brownlow thread. Given Fyfe has now won 2x Brownlows, has he surpassed Pav as the greatest Docker of all time?
It's crazy to think he's still got quite a few more years left at his peak!
