Might be going a bit early but I can't see him not getting selected for Friday night.
First player in history to make it to 300 games off the rookie list. Would have played close to 50 games in the ressies as well. Started off as the super sub and looks to be finishing as one.
Hell of a...
I want to preface this post by acknowledging what wonderful player he’s been and to summon a tired cliche, an ornament to the game. Brooosty, as we are all aware was pick 47, in the rookie draft no less, and because of this and his unfashionable name, was pretty much written off before his...
...bid to lure Chad Wingard across, GWS has shown interest in another Hawthorn veteran, with AFL Media reporting they’ve explored a move for Luke Breust.
Like with Wingard, the Giants would’ve been willing to send out their pick 13 for Breust; and like with Wingard, the forward hasn’t shown any...

The round of booing continues, everytime Luke Breust or big Matt Kreuzer touch the ball they are getting booed.
Both are great players, not sure what they have done to deserve this.
Hopefully the AFL can fast track the boo ban this week, absolute blight on the game.
Good game of football...

...1 of the pre-season down, and after a year where he averaged career lows in most important stats since his debut season in the seniors, Lukey Breust looks like he's set himself to get back on track in 2018.
From watching the JLT match on the weekend it was clear immediately that the effort...
My hips stats don't lie
Of course, we all know that Cyril is also the poor man's EddieeeeeEreeeeE and the poor man's Chaaad (sadly lacking hair flicks this year)
So I guess this makes Youngieeee the moderately-well-to-do-but-let's-not-get-ahead-of-ourselves-times-are-still-tough Eddie...
Similar to the recent Birchall thread about being underrated - do we give Breust enough credit?
Was just watching his season review video ( http://m.hawthornfc.com.au/news/2015-11-12/season-review-luke-breust) and its just such a good viewing.
Highlights by definition are skewed, but it seems...
This young man has done it the hard way coming off the rookie list to become one of the most dangerous small forwards in the game. Followed your career with great interest broooooooosstt congrats on a great 100 games for the greatest AFL club in the land. :thumbsu:
...evade my opponent" segment on the Made from Brown and Gold promo?
Rather than being a secondary tactic that catches his man off-guard it seem to be his first option. Imagine if Warney had bowled the flipper every second ball! Just does not work.
Breusty, back to basics, like nailing a set...
Definition of a chipscab. Can't crumb. Can't take a contested mark. Not fast enough to beat his opponent on the lead.
Somehow still seems to kick a bag of easy goals by being a right place right time kind of guy.
Has been riding Hawthorn's coat tails since 2011. Easily the most overrated...
"The demon in your mind will rape you in your bed at night..."
Wise words by Brit heavy metallers Iron Maiden. They seemed to peg Luke Breust tonight, as it goes. Tony Lockett's record run of straight goals. Breust being within spitting distance - there's a red thing with burning eyes...
Get a load of the coward, on the boundary line, gets scared about scoring a behind, passes it off, pass wasnt allowed, then chooses to pass it off again and turns it over! LOL
Man up you sook
Having watched the prematch segment with the interview of Breust, and then first his non-attempt with a Roo behind him and then passing the ball when in the pocket to no-one really, it strikes me that he is more worried about the "most consecutive goals without a behind" record than what's best...
Hey guys.. been trying to find the artist who sings the song that was just on the end of the freo/wc game with the Luke Breust highlights package?? I don't have an iphone so cant use that app that detects the song
hope u can help:)
HAWTHORN captain Luke Hodge says Luke Breust’s incredible goal kicking accuracy is reflective of the team’s whole forward line.
Breust has kicked 35 goals this year and just four behinds, which places him fifth on the Coleman Medal chart.
The 23-year-old sharpshooter is also riding a streak in...
Well done, Luke Breust.
After 4 games you are currently the only player in the league to have played every game and be apart of this prestigious club. As this young man continues to improve, you can only expect more of the same for years to come as he destroys his direct opponents week in and...
