These guys aren’t all fails. Three of them played in a winning preliminary final for us. Schache, Martin and Hannan. Doug Hawkins, Chris Grant, Brad Joshson, Scott West etc couldn’t achieve this. Jed Adcock as a former Brisbane skipper was an invaluable leader through 2016 and played in our VFL...

...VFL level with the likes of Watkins, Lowson, Downie and co getting priority.
Have heard Lowson is on the fence as to whether to play VFL again or chase the $$$ in the local leagues.
Will also be interesting to see if Lienert goes around again or if MitchHannan and Sam Hayes stay on the list.
One star in Treloar one very good player at the end of his career in Jones and few handy players. In the period you have quoted we have lost Dunkley, Lipinski, Stringer, Smith, Macrae, Daniel, Dalhaus, Cordy, Hunter, Sweet from memory. I think like Australia we are in a trade deficit.

He thinks he will be lucky to play two or three games at the end of the season, will start training at North Melbourne VFL in the next month. He is coming off a torn Achilles.
Daniel Cross? He was a free agent and a good player for us, so it would be cruel to include him in the list.
Lobb always seems to sign front-ended deals and then dip on the club once the high earning years are over. He then moves club on a new front-ended deal to pump his paycheque to well in...
...already know systems, etc.
Footscray should already be an attractive VFL destination for on-field success and prospects or getting into an AFL list. It’s not just those we have drafted but you can add Ben Long, MitchHannan, Jordon Boyd and Lachie Sullivan who got onto AFL lists via Footscray.
Players in the grand final side:
Retired: Stef Martin, Easton Wood
Injured: Tom Liberatore, Bailey Smith, Cody Weightman
Delisted: MitchHannan, Roarke Smith
Traded: Zaine Cordy, Josh Schache, Josh Dunkley, Lachie Hunter
Playing VFL: Caleb Daniel
Played our most recent game: Alex Keath, Bailey...

Jones' pressure acts were 11th in the league for small forwards...
Of those the only ones I'd give a star to are Hamling, Biggs, Martin and Crozier.
Stevens, Gowers, Lloyd and Hannan were serviceable and it could be argued Gardner belongs here aswell.
Jury is still out on the newest four.
I think the biggest issue with that list is we brought them in too late...

I remember that, brayshaw was giving all his all to gut run to it and get a boot on it
Was right in front of me, would go to Carlton games with a mate and whoever's home game it was got the pick of seating. Mate they decided it would be right fun to sit with the Carlton cheersquad. We have not...
remember when the ball stopped on the goal line vs carlton in 2019?
i think mitchhannan kicked it from the centre square and the ball just slowly rolled before stopping in what would’ve been the sealer
from memory carlton immediately went coast to coast and mcgovern hit the post to nearly win...
