Can Bruce Francis type out an emergency injunction application fast enough?
Can't believe we never had a Royal Commission into this. It's all connected man, the Freemasons, WADA, Opus Dei, Harold Holt.....
Using "what about them" is not a strong argument. Are you arguing that Melbourne should be punished or that Essendon should not have been punished (and therefore Melbourne has nothing to worry about?
Whether or not you think the appeal was a joke doesn't matter, there are no further appeals available.
Why would a government waste their money on a Royal Commission? There is absolutely zero chance anyone who was at Essendon during the Hird years would ever want a Royal Commission since that...
Mate, this is the most pointless argument. They were found guilty by WADA, the appeal was denied, the saga is over. There is no right of further appeal.
By the standard which applies to these cases they were found guilty and nothing will change that - it is a fact.
The scientist quoted (and I suspect the one who fed the story to the Hun) is a 25 year member of the Essendon football club. I agree with the rest of your post though.
Probably, there is also a "Joan Hird" connected to his FOI requests and she has made quite few FOI requests on her own all related to the saga.
I guess everyone needs a hobby.
Yep, just another crusader - fairly sure he fed the story to the Hun. My ears pricked up at a random 'scientist' being quoted, although his science has no relevance what he is talking about which is an admin matter, that he is also wrong about but hey, it's the vibe.
So "scientist" Bob O'Dea as quoted in the article seems to be a 25 year member of Essendon who has made multiple FOI requests all related to the drug saga.
You can watch him in his Essendon jumper here giving an unbiased account of the"science of the drug saga" at the "Justice for the 34 synopsium"
Dude got a point if thats what he is arguing. So I am EFC fan paying good money in late 2013 to watch my team vie for a finals spot......I have been misled.
It's not really a theory, fairly certain the AFL tipped them off - IIRC Hird stated this under oath in court.
The AFL did not however hang them out to dry they carefully managed the process so the AFL tribunal cleared everyone - only because WADA appealled did the whole charade come crashing down.
My understanding is he stayed on good behaviour with the Saints and has continued that in retirement. No question he was bad news at WC though.
Seriously who cares about this now?
