Actually there were plenty. May not be official training. Banyule had a couple yesterday doing some training. No coaches present.

From an Ammo perspective. A VFL player must play 8 games without any games being played after June 30 or play 5 games with 2 after 30 June. This shows commitment to the local competition. Players missing GF for a VFL player who won’t be around the next year. Not great for club culture.

Minimum 5 games with 2 after 30 June.

It’s not their product is the players and the clubs product.

Our 16yo female field umpire in the 2’s has more chance than I do. She is actually a gun footballer, who will make it as a VFLW or AFLW umpire.
