Anyone have any good time killers at work? That are easy to get away with. IE everyone can see my computer screen in my office so I need to be a bit careful.
Serrano at least has some power. She was able to hurt Taylor especially early.
The vast majority of cards I have seen, excluding Irish ones, had Serrano winning by 2 - 3 rounds.
I'm left handed, so I understand the issue with head clashes but it also comes down to styles as well. Jumping in...
I don't think the fight was that close personally. I thought at worst it was 6 rounds to 4 minus the point deduction. So 96-93.
I ask again, in what world did Taylor win the second round? It's all good to say close fights don't equal robberies but when clear rounds are scored wrong, they sure...
Was anyone else fuming at the Taylor v Serrano decision?
The biggest stage boxing has been on in a long time and the judges go and do that. I have no idea how 2 of the 3 judges gave the 2nd round to Taylor, one of Serrano's stronger rounds.
The constant heabutting whether on purpose or not IMO...
No.
Sure the power may still be there, but the speed and movement is gone. That why Jones Jr kept talking about Tysons legs, he couldn’t get in a position to throw a decent punch and Paul wasn’t standing still.
Inoki was not a karate fighter he was a grappler. They severely limited the grappling so Inokis only option other than getting knocked out by Ali trying to box was the farce that happened.
It hurts the undercard fighters so much as well.
if the fights are close together people are more likely to watch more of the fights but why does anyone but hardcore fans want to watch anything but the main event when they have to do nothing but watch filler for 45 minutes?
Had Serrano up by 3 rounds.
Taylor landed some meaningless arm punches at a lower rate than Serrano landed stronger punches. The most meaningful things Taylor landed were her headbutts. The cut clearly bothered Serrano.
Bez was my shout for the Norm, simply because it felt like he would will himself to get us in a winning position after feeling responsible for last year.
Someone said I was in a feisty mood this morning because I swore at two seperate people talking about work this morning. If only they knew what the swearing actually looks like when I am in a 'feisty' mood.
Couldn't we have said that when we bought Will in for 2023 though?
I'm not sure who he replaces, and I am not saying he has to play as a mid, just that if he is as good as Will was, surely he gets a fair bit of midfield time.
