Was probably our most consistent player over the 4 quarters on Saturday night. Didn't get the highs of JHF and Zak in some quarters, but didn't get their lows either.

He was awesome ... he goes around again if he wants!

Boaky has been getting the best out of himself these last few weeks. It will be a sad day when he retires, but if there is anyone on Port's list who deserves the ultimate success, it is him.

Played desperate, maybe for the first time since those magnificent Skippers games early in Ken’s reign, maybe he knows his time is near and this is the best opportunity he has had and the gravity of success holds on one’s resume?

By no means our worst tonight but directly cost multiple goals and looked cooked at times with his disposal. Not Dixon cooked by any means but for his position, somewhat cooked at the most important part of the season. Find an off field role and manage/limit his games and time on ground very closely. It's not like he's reaching some sentimental milestone game early next season. If he retires, he retires.

Unfortunately in the history of the club, without premiership success, to me, he hasn’t moved the needle enough to be remembered for anything other than making up the numbers. His legacy has already gone from our best AFL skipper, held the club together with Robbie and Jacko when Geelong marched in and elite trainer setting standards our blokes strive to emulate in the off season, to Honest trier who couldn’t get the best out of himself when it mattered most.

We need some young kids like Lorenz and Anastasopoulos getting games.

Boak is serviceable at best but just blocking a guy like Lorenz who could after 15 games or so start to play well.
