We need to stop the phasing & go big bang - move Laird to half back. Crouch, Dawson, Soligo & Schoenberg have enough experience. Bring in one of the younger guys too to have a few rotations.

The sooner we get AFL games into him, the sooner he is likely to become a very good AFL player. Also, the sooner we work out what is his best role. Given our year is Kentucky fried, we need to prioritise playing our best young talent or this year will be another complete waste.

Rankine lack of bouncing the ball was not the reason for our loss nor the umpires call. It was once again we didn't have enough players who knew how to ice the game once we hit the lead. Too many made poor decisions when the game was on the line.

Hopefully it's still true he is looking to move to Melbourne next year for study reasons...

Then offer him more. The point is spend money on a player who will be around for the next 5+ years. This includes Cummings, Perryman, Hayward, etc. Pointless getting someone who misses more than half games for next 2-3 years.

Yeo has missed more than half of the Weagles games over the past 5 years. Crazy to chase him.

It's beyond stupid as he would be retired by the time we are next in flag contention. Spend the money on a younger player.
