I’ve never heard anyone talk about Riley Obrien like he’s a flog. He’s one of the smartest blokes in the afl and known for community work. Very weird opinion.

I'm actually not convinced every club would. I think it's reasonable to say every club would consider him - for sure, but this is such a unique situation. If AFL clubs knew there was a chance they'd have to pay a player 800k and it's more likely than unlikely that he is a real problem, then it's just not worth it.Every club in the AFL would still take him. And they know we’ll fire sale him. Perfect scenario for them, little outlay, potentially huge reward.
He’s going to be a dad? /sSome very positive Bont news should be coming out soon

Contract? World peace? Trump tariffs? Please define soon.
If someone told me I could have world peace or a Marcus Bontempelli contract extension, I'd be unsure which I'd prefer.Contract? World peace? Trump tariffs?
I'd go all out for Trac. In a heartbeat.![]()
Opposition clubs think Petracca and Oliver are gettable. What would the Dees get back?
A winless start to the season has kept Melbourne’s off-season dramas running. Even speculation about the future of their two star midfielders won’t quit. But the question now is whether there’s a market for the duo and their bulky contracts.www.theage.com.au
With Butters looking like he's staying at Port, and Pies with no picks, Trac in our midfield and forward line would do me. We have to go all out for a flag while Bont is still in his prime, otherwise what's the bloody point?
Keep an eye on Hawks if Reid stays in WA![]()

He's going to get paid a motza regardless of where he goes (or if he stays), so that pretty much rules out smaller market clubs given the exposure he'd get from bigger clubs. Agree with you though, there aren't many on the list I wouldn't offer to bring him across.I'd go all out for Trac. In a heartbeat.
He'll play into his 30s as a Leigh Matthews type forward. You could hardly find a better player for Hynes to model himself after as well.
