Yeah, he is certainly more comparable to Merrett. I was mainly talking about his two-way running and endurance. What I think makes Walsh a superstar level that I don't think Ward quite has is that burst and time of space (or at least as much) that Walsh seems to have. Walsh also seems to be able to get in the right spaces going forward (but Ward is getting better). But you're right, Merrett is a lot better comparison.He has the superstar qualities and has what Walsh doesn’t in being able to be an elite user with great vision and composure. Not comparable. I like looking at Merrett for a comparison, both classy left footers with creativity by foot and hand, tough, inside and outside with consistency and hard work.
