AMEN to this x 1000!!!Attacking teams with attacking game plans win flags. Take note CScott.
Melbourne's midfield beasts are in their prime, this might be the start of something special for them in the next few years.
Welp so glad we wasted a million chances to pinch a flag because Dees, Dogs, Lions will win the next few.
fu**. It is terrifying how quickly Melbourne can score. 74 points and Bulldogs were up mid-way through the third. We did 119 points but we dominated from the start. Melbourne came from several goals behind and racked that up in a quarter in a half... insane.
What the f is BT going on about this being the greatest ever winning margin in a GF?
We took the foot of the pedal late but Melbourne were piling on the goals late.fu**. It is terrifying how quickly Melbourne can score. 74 points and Bulldogs were up mid-way through the third. People were saying Dogs would be a dominant force after 2016/were the best team ever. Immediately after premierships are won, people are quick to talk about dynasties and future potential. Some go on with it, some don't.Was that also said in 2017 of Richmond who didn't even make the GF in 2018
Never know what's going to happen in 12 months time
Gotta shout out to Vdubs who called this very early on in the season.Closest side we've seen to what we were like in 2007. Best team all year with thumping wins when it counts.
Just the dees still don't rate dogs or lionsWelp so glad we wasted a million chances to pinch a flag because Dees, Dogs, Lions will win the next few.
Dees had 5 goals halfway thru the 3rd Q. Blink of an oreill and game overfu**. It is terrifying how quickly Melbourne can score. 74 points and Bulldogs were up mid-way through the third. Hes neither he is just a good coach.
Despite what you've been saying in this thread tonight, Melbourne arent that far removed from Richmond. Fundamentally the game plan is the same. If you can curb the influence of their class players and keep the pressure on them then you beat them.
16.5.101 to 3.1.19 in the second half.
For the demonsWhat the f is BT going on about this being the greatest ever winning margin in a GF?
Melbourne arent unbeatable, the Bulldogs proved that only 2 quarters ago. You just have to go with them for 4 quarters, which is not easy.

About to post the same thing. They remind me of Cats 07Melbourne's 2021 season has any of Richmond's from 2017-20 covered.
