He's an outside midfielder, reasonably quick and a solid kick. Club probably thinks he's got a fair amount of physical development left in him.
Was very good in the Colts GF close to best on ground, just behind Waterman.

I used to live next door to Dylan and hes been a family friend of mine for around 14 years or so.
Great overhead mark. Solid kick and hes quick.
He'll be a great asset to the Eagles.
Like what others have said, he played very well in the colts GF for South Freo.

I have not seen much of him but quite impressive athlete.

Clearly has alot of scope for improvement looking at his body. Tall, versatile, quick, clean hands, can kick goals. Not bad for pick 49.

But how are the angles?
Looks to have much more natural footy sense than Houlihan. The way he kicked some goals on those highlights showed he has the natural ability Houlihan never had.

However I think every supporter of every club finds a way to be positive about who their club drafted, as we all focus on the potential and what-ifs

Oh. I forgot to mention hes got a great jump on him. He has the open boys high jump record at the our high school we both attended to.

Hell, the Hawks drafted Luke McPharlin based on one half of a colts game where he played under a different name.
A great performance in a colts GF is a way better resume than that
