Basically they've updated it to work on higher resolutions, moved online/MP to Battlenet (althought its currently buggy) and made modding easier and that's about it.

No UI changes, no significant graphics updates, no changes to pathfinding

I bought it and got a refund within two days. I really missed playing custom maps but it's just terrible.

have been following the blizzard forums, what a cluster.

i really only care about updated graphics and MP functionality. but it appears there's no ladder, match making, an ability to create pre-made MP teams, no profile, and no AU server which as far as i understand it, leads to shitty ping even if you're just playing skirmish against the AI? glad i didnt purchase. will wait until those bare minimum needs are in place.

I ended up getting it.... Had nothing to play over the weekend and just got it. They've released a 2gb patch. I'm enjoying the campaign though.
