I don't think you have any idea what you are trying to say, just trying to add an additional conspiracy theory to an already rubbish OP.

So Governments have made up COVID globally to increase their popularity? The worst-hit and most powerful country in the world just voted their President out of office, and a large part of that was due to Covid.

My comment was on the response of governments.

It makes no sense at all for a government to introduce a policy that is likely to result in them getting voted out for no reason.
