that's weird i also just saw it on DVD today for first time since the cinema. The attempts at humour pissed me off in first viewings, but i'm fine with it now. The bar scene also i'm not too bothered by.

Saw it when it came out, enjoyed for the most part, now that its out on dvd will watch it again at some point, just good to have something that fits the star wars universe back after the mess that was Lucas prequel trilogy.

I've noticed some ppl have edited the prequels to take out all the crap and bring them up to an acceptable level, such as removing some Jar Jar scenes and giving him a deeper voice (and not speak English). That meant they could easily subtitle whatever they wanted for what he was saying. Now that's commitment from some pretty pissed off fans. I've seen the movies uploaded on youtube and took a quick squizz at them. Not too bad.
