Rory is in a bind, can’t quit now looks like he’s jumping ship.

So he will announce it once we’ve won a couple of games against crap opposition.

We are now 1/3rd of the season in, he’s played no games. Looks like he’s weeks away from playing still. No way Belinda will let him risk his eyesight for half a season when we have no finals to play for.

She seemed pretty hesitant at the footy show cross and rightly so.

If he’s the great club man and must have spiritual leader around the club, he can still be of value if he hangs around the club. Bet that doesn’t happen though, he will back right off

Can't he just coach or mentor from the bench like Melksham is doing for Melbourne, to make it look like he's still part of things.

If we let him do the pre game rev up in the rooms, we could drop Ned

When?

And you can't say the first 8 games of 2017.

If he's a spiritual leader, we're screwed. He totally threw the group under the bus in favour of admin. I know he's played great footy the last couple of years, but the likes of Tex, Rory, Smith and Laird need to be excised from our club so we can move forward.

Well I reckon nicks will say that Rory lives and breathes “ the values” of how we play ( what ever the @@ that means) and fast track him back 🤯
If it means nicks is out of the club quicker i hope he plays him.

Watching Boak last night who has continuity of games and seeing the game go past him.

Still playing at an ok level, but he is not at the level any more.

Understand him playing on, having never played in a GF and if seemingly close.

Sloaney has effectively been out for two seasons.

It will be a sad day watching how bad he will be if he gets a game.

They will play him to prove to sloane how far passed it he is. Expect a scott thompsonesque one and done token game in their final year. If the club had any balls they would have retired him last year.

Tex is our spiritual leader and should continue playing as long as his form holds up.

Throwing him in the same basket as Smith and Laird is ridiculous for starters, and he’s way above Sloane too.

But we need to make a call.

It's the point I made last year that list management needs to be managed

Giving tex a contract based on his year last year was fine. Not delisting Sloane 1 year early was poor.

We are now stuck (imo) having to delist 2 icons of the last 14 years or carry 1 for another

We don't operate that way
