GO BLUES!

I don't get it. Graham is a midfielder with a tank. He needs to work his way into a match and accumulate. What does he achieve by playing a quarter? His match conditioning is going to suffer. Bound to get dropped to the VFL for a full game now.

This might sound terrible, but I'm almost hoping for an early niggling injury so Graham can come on (oh god, touch wood, touch wood, nothing major, none of our guns). Don't they know our season is shot and we just want to sound out these young guys to get some hope? FFS.

Waite at his best scares the opposition no end.

Trick is to keep him fit and focused.

I agree and at his best Waite is a MASSIVE cog in our team but i am stuffed if i know what goes on behind closed doors within the club and it is clear to see MM is putting the acid on him. All the silly stuff over the years which has seen him rubbed out previously coupled with the lack of forward line pressure when we do not have the ball have seen MM relegate him to the 2's until this aspect of his game lifts.

I love Waite and he is massive to us but given his age now and injury history and all the other aspects he just may not fit in with Micks plans going forward and while i would be sad to see him go i will always support the club and coach, that's life at AFL level though.

Big game tonight for him and i hope he smashes North. :thumbsu:

Was hoping Garlett would be a later inclusion, has a lot more value to us than Waite

Graham the sub again is just trolling, we are killing the guy

Won't affect his engine if he's super fit.

Blame the AFL for the sub rule.

If Graham can't contribute as a forward/mid, then he's not going to play three quarters before being subbed off. Team balance pushes him behind Judd, Gibbs, Murphy, Curnow, Thomas, Yarran, Docherty, Bell, Robinson, Simpson and Ellard.

We should be happy that he's in ahead of Brock.

I have a feeling the blues will do well right until the end and we will have a heart breaking loss

We are a massive chance tonight if we stop Boomer as they lack genuine A graders but in saying that the B graders North have clearly out number us.

Etihad i hate and we always seem to struggle there against the Top 8 teams when we play them here. The old cliche will decide this and i reckon whoever kicks straighter wins this game with not much in it.

Balance schmalance, we are 5-11 and our season is shot. 1 quarter a week tells us nothing about Graham.

I'd have though MM would pick Graham since the North midfield isn't elite.
But he's still using his "when in doubt, pick the player with the better defensive work" routine.
