This article is from 2015. The situation for European women has not improved since then due to the questions raised at the bottom which I have attempted to highlight.

The mistreatment by Muslim men of women is far from limited to this. I'll put more up if the refusal to acknowledge this problem persists.

Some of the stories coming out of Afghanistan lately are horrifying.

The conversation needs to be had.

Europe is currently being overwhelmed by a wave of rape committed by Muslim migrants. Particularly in Scandinavian countries, the number of rapes of white women and girls is rising.

These women are considered by Muslim migrants as third-class citizens. In the English town of Rotherham alone, 1 400 white girls were abused, raped and murdered by Muslim gangs over a period of years. Many of these incidents are gang rapes. Many local city councils in England, Sweden, Norway and Denmark know very well how things stand, but conceal the real situation for fear of being accused of racism

If, despite all this, rape charges are still brought, it is usually the perpetrators and not the victims who are treated leniently, because the perpetrators claim that the women had consented to sexual intercourse. If these abuses are raised by local politicians, they are sometimes convicted of slandering ethnic groups.

1. Why do we turn a blind eye to such atrocities? Fear of possible allegations of racism is no justification for ignoring acts of this kind! In Austria, too, there are increasing numbers of rapes and attempted rapes by migrants.

2. Does it make any sense to continue talking about ‘isolated cases’ here?

3. Why does the Commission not take preventive measure
s?

That's a question raised in European parliament by a member of a political party who runs on an anti-immigration agenda. It doesn't constitute anything other than his beliefs.

Did you even read the reply to the question and the links provided by the person that answered that question?

A good example here exposed by Mediawatch on Monday 6/5/2023 of how immigration policy in Australia can be manipulated. A former One Nation politician gives himself a fancy title and gets treated like an expert on the topic of immigration and allowed to spread misinformation by the usual mainstream media outlets.

As Mr. Barry says we should be able to have a debate about Immigration Policy in Australia.

An article from Independent Australia from March 23 of this year, written by a former Deputy Secretary of Department of Immigration, gives a good list of examples of how both sides of politics in Australia have failed to commit to setting net immigration targets because of ad hoc policy decisions mostly benefitting special interest groups.

(NB - I think there's a numerical typo in one of the sentences)

What are your thoughts on the questions raised particularly question 1 ?

One of my favourite writers is Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Her life story is extraordinary.

She has written extensively on the problems of mass immigration of Muslim men in Europe and the failure of Western leaders to integrate their attitudes and values concerning women from those of their Muslim dominated country of origin to their host European country.

The consequences of this on the women of Europe has ben an undeniable disaster.

Her take below and in the attached article on where the blame lies and the conundrum these European women face having played a large part in the position they now find themselves in.

Things are that bad that someone has produced rape proof underwear

The blame lies squarely on “Western feminists” who argue “that imposing their values on the Muslim world was a form of neocolonialism.” Consequently, European institutions — police, media, judges, academia — have buried and obscured damning stories about sexual assault in the name of multiculturalism.

European women are now claustrophobically painted into a corner. Many, as Ali documents throughout the book, are fearful of being “called a racist” despite their leftist and antiracist credentials. Forced to fend for themselves, women are beginning to fill the void left in the absence of political leadership. German entrepreneur Sandra Seilz created rape-proof underwear because she narrowly survived a gang rape while jogging.

Statistics coming out on this have non germans many more times likely to be perpetrators of rape. Countries of origin are Afghanistan, Turkey, Syria and a few others.

I wish it was surprising to me that some think discussing this is a Right/Left thing. Surely the issue is one of protecting the victims and society. I can see no logical argument against that makes sense.

In other news for the socialist state of Victoria... state debt interest payments are closing in on $25m per day.

They are likely to have their credit rating downgraded again soon, meaning it will only get more expensive to borrow.

I suppose we can all admit all that 'free' stuff, wasn't in fact free.

To be the most kindest possible on this I will assume the best of intentions and say that people who seek to avoid this discussion are doing so to not empower racists to be racist on racist lines - so the data is abandoned.

If data showed that people brought into western nations were more prone to criminal behavior, or worse yet a particular subset of that group of people, it would be very easy for people with racist ulterior motives to convince regular people to have those people excluded from a society.

I believe that this discussion is avoided because the emotive arguments for immigration can't stand up to the emotive racist arguments against it and supporters of each position know this, so as Shifu said on Stargate: "The only way to win is to deny it battle."

The degrees of those positions vary from there all the way to the suffering felt by people moving to a nation for a better life that are excluded for the actions of the few of their cohort who bring suffering to the new community is greater than the new community's existing members suffering - so they choose the greater good outcome in their eyes.

I don't have an opinion on how appropriate that position or the broader one before it are.

In this instance the greater good lines up with virtue signalling, easier and more women hurt.

The other issue is that by shutting down discussion and not being open about it (aside from the victims pain of the abuse) we further hurt the victims by almost pretending the crime didn't happen.

Another benefit would be to out the extremes on the racist front. One of the benefits of speech being heard is that the extreme get exposed. Which of course in part is a good deterrent and disinfection.

Regarding the paragraph on suffering. There are two problems. Our politicians should always serve the interests of our citizens first. Secondly, is there a tipping point from the nation we are or were to becoming like the nations these mostly lovely people are fleeing?

Again, for those reading this, if you are thinking this is very right wing to have this discussion, tell me how exactly. And then I will tell you that Obama in 08 was the most recent president to hold the most centric positions. he discussed these issues and in far stronger language than I am. He would be considered a millimeter left of Hitler by that reasoning.

Unfortunately, speaking honestly about it doesn't pay off. On one hand it could encourage racists to view all immigrants as potential wrong-doers. On the other hand, if a group gets away with reprehensible behaviour, contrary to the laws and customs of the host nation, more wrong-doing may be encouraged by more immigrants, on the grounds that there are no or few consequences. The law often appears to be on their side, providing them with excuses and mitigation. Whereas in their home countries, legal retribution would be harsh and swift.

We need to admit that multiculturalism doesn't actually work unless the immigrant is willing to assimilate into the culture of the host nation and leave behind feuds and loyalties that are inimical to our country.

The Albanese government has shed its ambivalence towards gas, adopting a strategy that locks in its use beyond 2050 to underpin renewables, power manufacturing, and help trade partners manage their energy transitions.

Resources Minister Madeleine King said the Future Gas Strategy, to be released on Thursday, will be “based on facts and data, not ideology or wishful thinking”.
