I have copies of Olando Figes's A People's Tragedy and Natasha's Dance and have been meaning to read them for an age. They are too heavy to heft around though and thus they sit unread ('tho not unopened) on my shelf. I have a number of other books that have experienced the same fate.

I am halfway through A People's Tragedy (have put it down for something else) and I bought Natasha's Dance but havent touched it.

There is a corker of a bookshop I walk past in London (Hatchards) which I struggle to walk past without purchasing something. Outstanding range on non fiction and particularly history books.

I'd say that my percentage is about 98 bought to about 2 others (borrowed). I read at least a book a week so, over the last couple of years that is about the figure, both in percentage and real terms.
