Heard it was Blicavs first suspension in 250 odd games, if true surely he gets the good guy defence here?

It was Luke Parker's first suspension in over 280 games, but he was denied the "good guy" defense. And if Blicavs' action was "medium" impact, what caused the massive swelling on the side of Whitfield's head? Has anyone from Geelong shown any concern for Lachie's welfare?
