The Gold Coast Bulletin today had a small article saying that Matty Allan has a foot injury and will be out for 10 weeks.

I am trying to stay calm here but this is devastating for our season especially as Mark Porter has been out of form lately. I agree with the suggestions that have been made lately that we have to bring some height into the team and Merrington is the most likely option.

How are we going to overcome this setback?

people, remember what happened last year when matty go injured? we had porter and he did pretty good, he improved heaps but when allan came back he kind of faded away, yeah its not good that allans gone but we gotta give others a chance as well. porter just needs to get back into it and he'll be fine. we're licky we;'ve got him, in other teams if the rucks gone they've got no replacement, at least we've got someone! have faith, we'll be good, we almost always are!
