More info on Jarrad Schofield

Tough, fearless competitor with a knack for kicking goals. Although he played many of his games from the bench in 2000 he developed into a dangerous pinch-hitter. Originally from WA club Subiaco.

A permanent fixture in the Port Adelaide structure in 2002 as one of the many players capable of being rotated through the midfield. He missed five games with a foot injury late in the season and when he returned he was pushed down the pecking order. In 2003 he missed the first two games but then was a permanent fixture for the rest of the year.

He played every game in 2004 and although he spent long periods on the bench during the season he was a productive and useful member of the premiership side.

After failing to secure a longer term deal at Port after the 2004 season he was recruited by Fremantle where he played 12 games in 2005-6.
