Interesting fact: If Claremont have to travel east for their semi final, they'll have done more travel in 2011 than Collingwood will.

The game would have to be in Perth or Adelaide right?

It should be in Perth because Claremont have had to play in Hobart and the Gold Coast.

Great win by Claremont and another example that just because a team has a lot more AFL listed players doesn't mean they are a better side. Not even close. Countless AFL listed players are just sitting on lists but often, quality players never get drafted or get drafted and let go too early are much better footballers.

Another Great win from the Mighty Monts!!

Our Midfield completely outclassed a bunch of Carlton hopefuls!!

I will be very dissapointed if the next game isn't in Perth.

Fantastic win by the Tiges ! Could win the "Double" this year !

I read (I think in the West Australian) that East Perth v Williamstown will be a standalone match at Etihad, as Foxtel are covering games in Launceston and Gold Coast that day

Who knows where the Tigers vs (Port or North Adelaide) will be played as there are no games in Perth that weekend, and the Adelaide game is on Friday night covered by Channel 7.

Possibly a standalone game in Adelaide or somewhere completely random !

The original draft of the fixture had the semi-finals being played on the Gold Coast and Etihad. The GF was scheduled for Etihad. The only change to the original fixture since has been all 'Gabba fixtures have been moved to Adelaide.

It would be bloody harsh on Claremont if they had to travel 4 times in 4 games. It's something they would really need to fix up if they want the competition to continue in the future.

I read today that EP v Williamstown will be at Etihad - there originally was speculation it was a gold coast match ..

Hi All,

The AFL have today confirmed the details of our Foxtel Cup Semi Final v Williamstown, details are below:

Date - Saturday 9th July
Venue - Etihad Stadium Melbourne
Time - 5:05pm EST (3:05pm Perth time)

We hope some loyal royals may make the trip east to support the boys, however the game will be shown live on Foxtel for all supporters wanting to watch the game.

Packages for the weekend will also be available in the coming week for supporters interested in travelling across.

Looking at the ladders of the respective comps, should be reflective of the standard of both leagues.
