Maybe most people have worked this out but thought I see. A few friends of mine entered the S14 dream team comp (no idea about the bloody rules in that game but was very bored waiting for AFL). One of my mates didnt finalise his team before the start of round 1. Obsviouly that meant that he wasnt going to get a score for round 1.
What I didnt expect is that when the lockout finished after round 1 he had UNLIMITED trades still until he finalised his team. So in theory, since round 1 (or more than that in AFL I think) doesnt count for you private leagues, you can enter a team and then not finalise it ie pick a full squad. Then after the first couple of rounds you can look for bargians etc and who is playing well and still have a full compliment of 20 trades when you are done.
Not impressed that this is allowed as some people dont care about the official prizes and just want to beat their mate. This is a huge advantage.
