All standard BigFooty posting rules apply to this board. They are fairly simple, so make sure you are aware of them. The following additional rules apply on this board:

(1) The topics on this board are often controversial and discussions sometimes get heated. Different opinions are welcome and we encourage people to discuss topics constructively. As long as there are no personal attacks, moderators will let the discussion flow.

(2) Pointing out flaws in any conspiracy theory is fine if done to convey knowledge, however insulting content will be removed and posting purely to bait or ridicule will be deleted. This is not the SRP board, so beware of moved threads from there.

(3) If you start a parody thread, expect it to be locked/deleted along with a warning (or infraction for repeat offenders).

(4) Some conspiracy theorists claim that every plane crash/shooting/car accident is a hoax. We're not keen on a thread for each incident! Wait one week for the blood to dry before starting a thread, and only post if an alternative theory has gained significant traction. If in doubt, shoot us a PM!

(5) Publicly complaining is never a great look. Report a problem post instead of quoting it. If you have a question or complaint, send a PM to the moderator(s). Open criticism of moderators is unacceptable.

(6) Neo-Nazi, New World Order, "International Banking Cartel" type anti-Semitic discussion is not acceptable. Posting particular symbols sympathetically will be rewarded with a ban.

Just a bit more to add on Werewolfs post above about moderation which always seems to be a sticking point after the fact when posters are pulled up for breaking rules then are confused as to the reasons why.

* If you would like a moderator decision clarified or explained please contact the mods of the board via PM. Complaining in open threads isn't the way to go and might see you lose access and Infracted, posts also get deleted all the time and if you have a post missing it is most likely because you quoted/replied to a deleted post that broke rules before you therefore yours goes as well regardless of content and this happens a lot in arguments that carry over a few pages before we are alerted to it.

Complaining about it in threads publicly is also not on and if you have a query PM us and we are always happy to help.

* The moderators aren't robots either and don't necessarily read every post. If you see something that you take offense with or is a breach of the forum rules - use the report post button and someone will attend to it rather than replying with abuse etc.

Update: How to use the search function, since many posts lately have been off-topic or dumped into the COVID thread and I've had to move them:

(1) Start on the parent board, "Mysteries and the Paranormal" to ensure your search also includes the "Conspiracies" board.

(2) Hover your cursor over the "Search" button, near the top right of the screen. The search bar should drop down.

(3) Type a keyword (e.g. Assange) and select "This forum". You may want to tick the "Search titles only" box:



If you select "Threads" instead of "This forum", you'll get every thread on BigFooty with "Assange" in the title.

(4) Optional: You can narrow your search down by selecting a poster or setting a word bound.
