As far as I'm aware there's never been an after the siren goal or behind to win a VFL/AFL grand final, certainly none that has been filmed that I'm aware of. Has any GF been decided by a kick after the siren? Maybe in the early days?

It looks as if it has never happened. The AFL Record Season Guide has a page where it lists all known cases of games decided by a set scoring shot after siren. No Grand Finals are on the list.

Finals won by a goal after the siren:
1987 PF - Gary Buckenara - Hawthorn vs. Melbourne
1994 1QF - Billy Brownless - Geelong vs. Footscray
1994 1PF - Gary Ablett snr. - Geelong vs. North Melbourne
2017 1EF - Luke Shuey - West Coast vs. Port Adelaide

Finals won by a behind after the siren:
1996 2PF - Tony Lockett - Sydney vs. Essendon

No drawn finals.

1903 VFL Grand Final. Pies 3 points in front and no time basically left when Fitzroy captain Gerald Brosnan marks 25 meters out.
He kicks and the bell rings as the ball is in mid air.
He misses and Collingwood win the flag by 2 points.

He didn’t win the Grand Final after the siren (bell).... he lost it.

Wests v Pioneers 1979-09-16

Wests First Premiership (Alice Springs)

Bill Bennett marked on the Siren

"Wests sent the ball into attack from the kickoff
and Bennett took a great mark, the siren sounded,
and Bennett kicked the winning score
Wests were home by 6 points 21.22 to 21.16"
- Centralian Advocate

The next year 1980 they went through the season
undefeated

Looking at the contemporary match reports and reviews at the time, looks to me that Brosnan's kick had reached the posts before the bell rang,

Billy Swan - Dane Swans father kicked the wining goal after the siren for Williamstown in the 1990 VFA GF at Princes Park.

BILLY Swan got thousands of kicks during his 300-game VFA career at both Port Melbourne and Williamstown but there's one with which he'll always be associated: the "mongrel'' drop punt he let go at Princes Park in 1990 to complete Williamstown's stunning grand final victory over Springvale.
As time diminishes deeds it remains a famous moment in what many regard as the greatest VFA decider of all.

Springvale led by 34 points early in the last quarter, but Willy thundered home and, through Swan, hit the front with 50 seconds left. The classy centreman was 50m out and slotted it through.

Swan was a superstar of the VFA. He played in four premierships and won two JJ Liston Trophies at Port Melbourne before crossing to Willy in 1989.
But for all his decorations, he wasn't renowned for kicking the ball long. Fifty metres was more like a mile for the veteran.
With the clock ticking down and Willy surging, he slipped away from his opponent, Peter "Bugsy'' Maloni, received a pass from Brett McTaggart and went back for a set shot.

Soon after came Swan's kick. As he lined up, Phil Cleary, commentating on ABC TV, exclaimed: "This is unbelievable. I can't believe it. It's hard to imagine that it's all happened. Springvale seemed to have the game won. What a kick, what a kick for Bill Swan.''
"What a hit!'' colleague Peter Gee boomed as the kick went a good two metres over the line, condemning the Vales to a two-point loss that still haunts club members.
Gee described the moments after the siren as fans converged on Round and his players: "What scenes as Williamstown, in one of the greatest grand finals played in the oldest football competition in Australia ... as Barry Round takes them to the premiership cup.''

Quite a story, yes. But doesn't belong in this thread....Swan kicked the winning goal with almost a minute remaining, so it was well before the final siren.

The last few minutes of the match, including Swan's kick, are on Youtube

Its 2003, the might of St Kilda match up against 'Tigers" in...... Maningrida.

Tigers by one point at the final siren

Supporters flock on to the ground believeing Tigers have won the match

But no! The umpire has whistled for a free kick to St kilda

St Kilda goals!

St Kilda 13 7 85
Tigers 12 8 80

After some grumbling, the Chairman declared it all quite legal,
and thanked the umpires .. who had hightailed it out of there
