Any connection/particular reason you know of?
Fond memories v their 1st XV111 a thousand yrs ago. Apparently we PGS hadn't knocked them over for a long long time.
Our coach told the forward line at centre bounces to move up the ground. I was a fleet footed HFF nancy boy who specialised
in flitting around the packs. If we won the bounce we were to sprint goal wards.
Beat them 18 goals something to 3 whatever. Big party that night. First time I got really shitfaced.

Btw always loved Krak great player.

Former Port player and current PAOCFC player Wade Thompson (pictured on the left) got him on board.

Krak on debut (I think) against the Eagles in Perth is my best memory of him. He looked so silky, evasive, pacey, skilful. Never quite realised the enormous talent he was gifted.

Haven't got any inside dope but felt Ken marked him hard. There were times he was playing good footy in the Maggies
but not getting his due. Used to call out over the fence to him at warm-ups saying "hang in there Nathan".
Look like he'd dropped his bundle well before it all ended.
I love my Maggies (cheersquad member) and always had a soft for 48.
