What a game! The tsunami was in full force in that third quarter and at times in the fourth too. Darcy Jones had a hell of a debut, and his speed helped cut up the Lions. But plenty of other players had great games - Finn Callaghan was instrumental in several bursts, Peatling was very strong in his first full game this year, while Briggsy, Tommy Green and Chook fixed up some of their problems in last week's game.

And Manuka is returning to being a Giants fortress.

So many players, so few points. Who do you dole them out to? I can see some wildly differing opinions coming in this week. 15 votes, max 5 to any player. use them wisely!

5 - Tom Green: thought his touches in the contest were most important to winning the midfield battle
4 - Finn Callaghan: possibly his most complete game to date; carved up the Lions with his running, still needs to improve DE
3 - Josh Kelly: a fine skipper's knock, and drove a lot of our attack
1 - Keiren Briggs: bounced back with a very good performance, 8 clearances and some good work
1 - Harry Perryman: excellent game at the back, 9 intercepts and 2 great goals
1 - Darcy Jones: outstanding debut, his speed off the mark helped carve through the Lions' defence, and 2 neat goals

and that neglects some great contributions from Riccardi, Thomas, HH, Brown, Peatling & Whitfield.
