Lol the Jeff Saturday thing is one of the weirder things I've seen in a while

While the jury is out on how good a coach Frank Reich is, something does seem a little off about everything.

The press conference by Irsay confirmed what that article Rumply posted earlier was saying, the guy has lost his marbles, and I wouldn't want to coach them with him at the helm.

And the irony of the first game being against McDaniels.

Its not going to end well for anyone, and if I'm a player, I want out ASAP.

That is such a scathing article. The scathing doesn't stop, relentless, one sentence after another.

I did like this line, entirely accurate I suspect.

Irsay is a dog chasing cars right now. You can’t really reason with him. You just have to wait for him to get tired and stop.

How ridiculous is this Rooney rule..so if Saturday does a great job as interim and they want to appoint his as HC they then still have to interview for an interview any minority applicant would know is bs

Surely hiring Jeff Saturday satisfies the Rooney Rule - how much more of a minority can one be but to be one of only seven (days of the week).

Not sure that Jim Irsay hasn't done this to spite ESPN - removing one of their best NFL analysts.

Irsay is pretty loose himself isn't he?
Used to be but apparently mostly gave it up like 5 or 10 years ago. I think his weirdness on Twitter probably accentuated the perception he was a loose unit too. Either way, Jim has nothing on his father in those respects (although very few people do)

I wonder if the Colts will try and get Peyton Manning as HC. i think the Broncos tried to get him for either HC or GM a few years ago.

Should get Manning as HC, Saturday as OC just so Manning can yell at him to stop calling plays again
