Sleevo has been very disappointing for someone with so much natural talent.

It was pleasing to see his pressure was up but that’s not enough.

Needs to go back to the VFL and put on a program where he needs to meet certain standards around training/preparation/work rate before he can be considered for a recall to the 1s. Certainly needs to remain in the VFL until at least the mid season bye and if his attitude/work rate and form are up to scratch then he should be eligible for a recall. He needs to earn his spot though.

Bucks nailed it, his actual commentary and analysis are usually quite accurate, and as much as i don't like him, respect his work in the media, at the other extreme are knobs like Cornhole etc etc

Just heard him on the Dogs & Bevo Mutt's. He does know his craft.

North - Flags 2
Bucks - 0 ( had to balance the ledger )

Harsh but fair…..it’s where we are as a club at the moment…….but yeah ld take Jackson over Stevo at the moment….plays for the jumper….and l agree someone on the bench should have had chat with him….

For sure, somebody should have thrown an arm around Jackson but who were the players on the bench at that moment? Duursma, Pink, not sure of the third one, and Hardeman would have been sitting in the row behind them. It was in part just an unfortunate moment that there was no-one with any experience to give him some encouragement. These blokes are worrying about their own mistakes right now so I give them some latitude for this oversight.

This is the perfect encapsulation of our situation. Not enough experience generally and specifically for some match situations. We have children surrounded by the uninitiated. Get an ex-player on the bench full time to do what should have been done with Jackson. Pity Boomer is not there.

Wasn't Michael Barlow on the bench there with the headphones on ? as head of development, he should have had a word, and maybe he did, but it wasn't caught on camera.

Video or it didn’t happen.

Cant see Clarko wanting him at the club in 2025.

He would be really good at a Sydney, Brisbane etc.

Doesn't fit our mold at the moment. Better off getting games into a Cooper Harvey.
Yep, make a statement by moving him on, get games into our young brigade, and rewarding effort.

I said it before....

Stevo has checked out.

He is not fighting for a spot in the senior team.

He is just happy to play out his contract on good coin, be it at AFL or in the reserves.

He knows he is not getting another contract.

He just doesnt want to get hurt and is thinking about what he will be doing next, when he gets delisted.

I would fake an injury now and p1ss him off now....
