Just got back from my mates house who I attended the match with today and according to him and a few other Tigers mates we will smash Port.

I disagreed completely. This game will go down to the wire. Port have had an almost as bad first 5 as us and have put up a fight in all games.

Season could be over for the loser at 1-5.

Absolute must win.

Will be a test playing at footy park definitely wouldn't pencil it in as a win though. Although I think we should run away with it in the second half as I cant see the boys letting this game slip. Time will tell.

Hopefully Schultz is out. That will be of great benefit to us. He is sure to kick his usual 2/3. I think we should win by around 35 points. Not overly worried.

They have been very good. They lack some polish, but are good at the contested stuff and have really upped their pressure.

Will be a tough game away from home, would be a win at the G.

Heard he copped one in the eye? You would think he'd get up by Sunday wouldn't you?

Copped a bad one in the eye and was bleeding, will at least miss 1 week, unless he wants to play with an eye patch.

Look forward to the game but can see Port fading and you guys cruising to the usual 4 - 5 goal win that has been the pattern so far.

They've definitely improved, but our form on the board so far is better than theirs. You never know though, it could go either way. Neither team is significantly better than the other at this point of time.

Our easier month includes Port away, the 5-0 Swans, the 4-1 Bombers and the Hawks. If we can keep up the level we have been playing we should get over the top of Port, but it won't be easy.

If we lose to port not only will I be generally upset because we lost to a team we really should beat, but that will also mean I won't get 9/9 for the tips this week. Round 6 is really simple for tipping with the exception of the Port v Richmond game imo. I'm going Richmonds' way though so common boys!

I've only tipped the Tigers once this year, against Melbourne.

Really tempted to tip us this week... We SHOULD win going by form.

IMO how we perform against teams like Port, Ess, North etc will really show how far we've developed. All well and good having a crack against top teams where you're not expected to win.

Now we are expected to win so there's no excuses anymore.

They are more competetive than last year but they were bad last year.

Should have a handy buffer by third quarter that they wont be able to reel in. Dont see us in any danger of losing to them this year.

Schultz will be out so that will help.

If we are good enough to play finals we win comfortably.
In my opinion we are good enough to play finals, we have made a massive improvement in 12 months.... If West coast or Geelong got 4 goals up on us last year we would of lost by 8-9 goals.

Always an advantage playing Port off the showdown, but that goes unnoticed by the people who are complaining about our "horrible" draw ey Groupie?

We'll beat them, we're desperate for a win after these close losses, you'd thinka few of them would want to make up for their piss weak effort last year...

With all due respect i feel for any team that is playing us in the upcoming weeks. I will go out on a limb here and suggest we are about to tear a few new ones big time..Starting with Port..;)

Kind of agree. Not to think to far forward, but we will be the first team to knock off the Swans ;)

No Robbie Gray is huge for us.

Wet week ahead, but fining up for the weekend. Think we should win

Hoping we start next week with a % above 100, but not regarding this as an easy salute at all

Boak always plays a blinder against us
