You guys nailed it.

Just signed a 3 year deal with the Suns. One of our QLD Zone Selections.

Touted to go in the top 10 of the draft in the Gold Coast Bulletin. Anyone know if that's the case?

Great for Alex if true. How reliable is your source? If true expect to see him as top up player for them in this weeks first NEAFL final!

Top 10 seems a bit high based on performances in 18s carnival this year, although obviously had exceptional div 2 carnival last year as overage player and been in AIS this year, trained with suns over summer, and had a couple of good games for suns as top up player recently which all would help his chances getting listed with suns.

If you have good sources, any word on any other possible Qld zone selections for Suns - eg Yagmoor, Michael, Allen etc have all been mentioned as possibilities at one time or another?????

thanks - too busy to look at AFL site so far today - if been released publically must be correct. Interesting been announced already

how many years do Gold Coast get first rights to all the good Qld kids please tell me it runs out next year but any why good luck to the kid

As I understand it still have zone priority again for next years draft (ie for 2011 and 2012 drafts), and then following year switches to academy system where Lions, Suns, Swans and GWS will be able to preferrentially list players from their zone under similar rules to the current father son system?
