I really don't want to talk about the game against Melbourne, but I was wondering HOW Corey can do what he did in the space of 13 minutes in the first quarter and then do what he DIDN'T do for the rest of the game?!?!

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I reckon Alastair Nicholson would've got the biggest tounge lashing of his career at Quarter time, because he certainly lifted & took the points after that.

A truly stunning 1st term from big Corza though, it was 96 all over again.

disappointing that corey can dominate for a quarter and then pretty much disappear. he was so good for most of last year - when we were so bad - maybe pagan's arrival has brought him back to 2001. still corey needs to impose himself on a game and not drift. also the fact that we had such a tall team may have meant that he wasn't at enough contests, last year for a lot of the time he was our only big man with whitnall and allan injured. when i think of some of his performances last year it's pretty disappointing that he has been so ordinary too often this year.

McKernan is a confidence player. He needs to be encouraged (ala last year), not punished. He's hit a little bit of form, but if he kept it for a full game against Melbourne, 16 goals was not out of the question (not to mention a large winning margin).

Back to the drawing board with him I guess.
