Is this just another thread to play down how good Watson has been? The comparison doesn't even make sense. Sehwag is on another level so why is anyone comparing them?

I despise Watson but he's a damn good cricketer.
He's no Sehwag though.

They're not even the same kind of player. This is a stupid comparison. Sehwag is a handy parttime bowler at best, Watson is a fully-fledged allrounder.
If you're going to compare Watson to anyone it should be to batting allrounders like Flintoff, Kallis, Gayle, etc.

If Watson stays fit, he'll finish with a very good career, he's a bloody good cricketer.
Sehwag is phenomenal at the moment (and has been for a while, no doubt) though, it's not even a contest.
Watson.
Sehwag at this point as an opener given his devastation, and that's not putting Watson down at all. As a cricketer though I go for Watson, given he's an all-rounder. Watson is one of the best cricketers in world cricket right now given his batting, bowling and fielding.
