Over the odds

This thread is about stuff that are over the odds, just point out the odds and if you can give a reasonable explanation...

Seen this at the tab a few weeks back was Port Vs Crows most points this was four weeks ago and they were both at 1.85 i knew port had some reasonably hard games comming up and the crows had a few easy games so i didnt get on it then knowing the odds would blow out which they've done now Crows are 1.22 and Port Are 4.00.
In the following 8 games port have 3 teams being in the 8 which are crows, carlton, and lions.. the crows which they beat earlier in the year and also beat the lions on the weekend, on the other hand the crows have four teams in the 8 being st.kilda at Eithad, geelong at SS, and collingwood at home. and carlton at etihad Its fair to say they'll be lucky to win one our of those four games.

going by my predictions on Ladder predictor i've came up with this

The 4 dollars on offer are massive overs on port as the easy run home compared to the crows

If you like that then consider putting your $100 on Port to be the highest placed interstate team @ $5.50 (sportsbet). Brisbanes run home isn't all that easy and dropped off late in the season last year.

Fair enough, not bad odds regardless. A lot will come down to the showdown and both teams playing Carlton.

I still think Port are to inconsistent and told myself that I'm not putting my hard earned anywhere near them for the rest of the year.

i had the lions to finish even with port on points they are offering good odds every where, but they'll be shorter next week

Be careful, the $5.50 is for after finals, the $12.00 is for after Round 22 - I think only Centrebet is offering that. I got on Port at $23 last week in this market!

Cheers I reckon Port are a better chance to finish higher than Adelaide/Brisbane at round 22 than finishing higher than them in the finals.
