WAFL performances part 2

Re: WAFL Performances

Everyone wants another Palmer!
Doesn't happen so often with bigger guys. I believe Roughhead & even Buddy played in the ressies a bit for their first 2 years.

I think they played a bit for Box Hill (VFL) but not VFL ressies - but they were top 5 pick big men. No real dramas about Sibo playing ressies early - if he's good enough and develops he'll progress. If he becomes a WAFL league regular by the end of the season it'll be a successful year for him.

Re: WAFL Performances

Off topic abit. I know these are not Dockers players but I hope they will be.

Did anyone see the Channel 2 coverage of EP vs WP on the weekend? Two young blokes for EP looked exceptional and would look very good in Purple next year. They were No 46. Mitchell Duncan & No. 48 Mark Hutchings.

Re: WAFL Performances

That is kinda worrying all those not named. Could it have something to do with the new fitness guy?

Re: WAFL Performances

Just an idea that we can start a new thread for each round. its hard to follow in the current format.

Re: WAFL Performances

How though? He's not even named as a reserve...

It is possible to name someone outside the squad I think, but you have to pay a fine.

But someone mentioned that Broughton picked up an injury in Bunbury so that's a much more likely explanation.

Drum is probably the one to keep an eye out for tomorrow. If he doesn't run out for Perth there's a fair chance he'll take McPharlin's spot. Could be the reason he's only been named on the bench for Perth too.

Re: WAFL Performances

Maybe have each round in the Player Watch section as the reason we would want updates is for players who we wont be seeing on TV?

I'll be posting my buddy Sibo's WAFL stats in his thread every week.

No need to thank me even though I deserve it. I'm doing it out of love.

Re: WAFL Performances

Subi v Swans. So Hinks, Son-Son and Pratt will all be on tv.

I might have to watch the F1 qualifying instead though I think.

Re: WAFL Performances

Nothing gay about F1 my friend. More hotties in the pit lane than you'll see in an entire year at the footy.

Great news for Chris Hall in his WAFL debut for East Freo! The young fella kicked 2 goals and was named in their best players.

East Fremantle 13.15 (93) d East Perth 5.16 (46)

GOALS:
East Perth (League): HUTCHINGS 2 MCKINLEY SEAL MACAULAY
East Fremantle (League): R.Dunn 3 C.Hall 2 J.Kennedy 2 A.McCarrey 2 D.Dalby 1 A.Kyanga 1 K.Lucas 1 J.McNamara 1

BEST:
East Perth (League): J.Humm M.Seal D.Macaulay B.Noakes
East Fremantle (League): K.Green D.Bongiascia D.Dalby K.Hardingham C.Hall T.Houlihan

Pat Travers from EP was reported for striking him also. Eventful debut...

Good on him.

I remember when we drafted this kid most I had absolutely no clue about him but apparently the recruiting fellas and harves looked at him closely and were keen for quite some time. Wouldn't it be nice for Chris hall (pick 77) to become an important part of the team a few years down the track.

Can someone confirm he is bottom aged?

Would make a lot of sense if he was.
