Could be 2 changes.

Out: Ellis and Osborne

In: Buddy and Thorp/Muston - depends on what the brains trust wants.

Thorp could run with Reid. (Reid 6'5" mobile big man) be a good match up. Thorp is super competative. Adds height and allows Croad to move to the forward line and create even more match up problems for the magies.

The roof will be closed as per AFL policy on evening matches so ideal conditions to debute a marking CHF/CHB.

A Thorp also allows Roughie to be swung down back to add height if they need it and he (Thorp) goes forward and keeps the pies in trouble.

Muston if we want a young man who is going to bust the pie lines. Played well at the dome, likes the surface and conditions.

Would have to be shortened to

Taylor, Young, Jacobs and ... Osbourne? Done nothing wrong, but maybe they want to give Thorpe or Muston a run.

Or did Jacobs pull up sore?
 
Why isnt Jacobs starting in the backline? He is supposedly the general for our defence. Yet in recent games hes been a bits and pieces player, pushing forward and around the middle. Not real happy with his role at the moment. Maybe hes working back to full fitness or something.

O'Brien had his shoulder dislocated two weeks ago, against the Demons, he also hurt his ankle. I cannot believe he is playing. I hope if he does, someone gives him a BIGGGGGG hip and shoulder!!!! (mean aren't I)..hehehe...Could just be a ruse by the ever arrogant Milkshake. One never knows with him.
As far as Thorp and Muston go, do we have any injuries? If so, it has been kept very quiet.
I believe that the only change will be Franklin in for Ellis.
The others have done nothing wrong, and certainly do not deserve to be dropped, unless the match ups are not what AC wants..

He plays a bit like Birchall.. Running off half back, in years to come he may move into the midfield

anyone know why o'brien is suddenly fine? i'm pretty sure the injury list had him at 2-3 weeks

If he (O'Brien) does play watch Luke Hodge quickly go to him and say "HELLO" with some huge shoulder charges. :D

Oooh, i love that thought Rusty. Franklin starts on the wing, ball from the first ball up gets scrambled out towards the wing, Franklin comes steaming through traffic and Hodge stands a delivers a perfect bump to the side, sending OBrien back to Brazil.
 
Just hope we beat these guys. Wish Rocca was playing and then that way could have brought in Zac. Don't worry guys have watched him a few times at box hill and he is a DIFFERENT player compared to last year. GO HAWKS!!!

I wouldnt read to much into who is named on bench. Doesnt mean DJ wont start on ground.

I dont think O'Brien will play, and other than match up reasons I dont imagine any of our íns'will either.
That said, didnt Thorp tell some poster on here that he would be playing the Cwood game!!! Who knows?
Given their depleted backline it might just be a great opportunity!!!

I have too, and no he's not...............smashed by Bradley, Riewoldt, Dukes. Young Zac won the b&f BH 2nds at CHF. He presents, does not squib the heavy clashes, has done pinch-hitting ruck work. I would love to see him given the opportunity to present at CHF, completely rework his game input, having already put in all the defensive aspects training to his game. He would present all day for front and centre roving types. Go Zac !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
