Just a suggestion...But maybe you should put all the teams on one post, and don't space them out so much, also the results on 1 page. Another idea would be have a preview of each day, eg.

Saturday
(Last nights results)
(Today's Teams)
(Tommorows Fixture)

And then just do a post for each day, during the week have injuries, suspensions and other random news

Headline: Brisbane thrash the Hawks with a young list

The Brisbane Lions last night advanced their NAB cup campaign with a super win against the Hawks at the Gabba on Friday night football.
Only though 20 thousand people went to see the game, the Lions put on their best football, and didnt give the Hawks a chance.
The Lions went with a very in-expereiced team with the likes of 1st gamers Mills, Clark, Rischetilli, Patfull and Rhan Hooper turned on the lights at the Gabbe.
Mitchell Clark the Lions 1st pick in the draft was the best man on the ground kicking a very impressive 4 goals on debut and had 23 possesions playing at full forward.
Matthews says that the Lions are out to win this NAB cup, he doesnt care if it is the NAB cup which really doesnt mean anything, but in Matthews books it means alot to the club and the players.

Headline: Eagles win away from Home

The West Coast Eagles have furthered their threat on the AFL premiership in 2006 with a spiriting win against the Collingwood Magpies at the Telstra Dome on Staurday afternoon. The Eagles led by new captain Chris Judd started the 2006 season off where they left the 2005 season, playing well, with all stars shining.
The Eagles went into the game with a very un familiar line up with several players missing, which made way through youngsters Matt Rosa, Shannon Hurn, Matt Spangher, Mark LeCras, Mitch Morton, Ben McKinley. With stars from their 2005 Grand Final team missing such as Chad Fletcher and Quinten Lynch.
But the Eagles didnt allow the young kids to loose the game for them, and shot out of the blocks as soon as the 1st bounce. The Magpies surged late with the supporters urging them on, for a last quarter performance, but it wasnt enough to get the Black and White army over the line.

Headline: Saints and Geelong kick big scores, but the Saints prevail.

The St.Kilda Saints have beaten the Geelong Cats just like they did in the 2005 NAB cup Grand Final last season. The Saints shot out of the block, but on the other hand so did the Cats. At half time the 2 teams kicked a combined score of 20 goals between them. The Saints kicked 5 goals to the Cats 1 in the 3rd term to basically set up the win and advance through to the next stages of the Cup. Fraser Gehrig hasnt lost touch over the summer kicking 5 goals himself, and youngster James Gwilt chipped in a booted another further 4 goals.
The Cats had most of the play in the last quarter with Corey Enright having a 15 disposal last term, but even that couldnt help his team to defeat the Gallant Saints at the Telstra Dome

Headline: Carlton and Kanagroos light up the M.C.G for the 1st time in 2006.

The Carlton Blues and the Kangaroo football club have opened the season off at the M.C.G with an entertaining game. The struggling Blues over the past 2 seasons, needed to break the dead lock, and start winning some games to get their fans and faithful back, and what a stage to do it, Saturday night footy, and at the M.C.G.
The Blues got of to a flyer against the Roos with a 8 goal to 7 half, but the 3rd quarter is the one that made the Blues win that night, 4 goals to null in the 3rd quarter and with Brenan Fevola kicking 3 of those goals, were happy to see the Old Dark Navy Blues flags back up and high aswell. It has been a long time since we have heard the Old Dark Navy Blues song says Denis Pagan the Carlton coach, and he expresses the win to the Blues Fans and faithfull.

Headline: Bulldogs and Crows battle it out in the heat

The Western Bulldogs had to fight hard for their win against the Adelaide Crows on Saturday night in humid conditions in Darwin. The Bulldogs had a slow start to the match, but finished the game off with to much run for the Crows. It might of been that the Bulldogs had a younger list then the Crows did on the night, with thew Crows missing Simon Goodwin, Captain Mark Ricciuto, 300+ gamer Ben Hart and young defender Ben Rutten, but that wasnt enough for the Bulldogs to beat the Crows at their own game. The Bulldogs played a possesion game against the Crows, which made the Crows unhappy and angry, but lucky enough for them their were no reports taken out of the match. 1st gamer Richard Douglas was the major casuality with a broken leg and expected to miss the nect 6-8 weeks

Headline: Demons dissapointed they couldnt win for Broadbridge

The Melbourne Demons and the Essendon Bombers have made a gathering again for the tribute of Tsunami victim and ex Melbourne player Troy Broadbridge. The Bombers were more then glad to play this game every year for the young man, who died in the tragic Tsunami incident 2 years ago.
But dissapointed at the end of the day, the Demons didnt prevail with the win, Essendon brock the party, but everyone knows didnt matter who won, the thoughts were with Trisha and family on the night.
Trisha did a lap of honour around the M.C.G, then gathered with the Demon's players for their last talk before the start of the game. The players from both teams wore black arm bands in memory of Troy, and 34 thousand people stood as 1 to say goodbye to Troy Broadbridge.

Headline: Fremantle Spoils the Swans Premiership

The Fremantle Dockers have beaten the raining premiers the Sydney Swans in a exciting game at Subaico in from of 17 thousand fans. The task was with the Dockers, as they needed to beat the Premiers to gain respect back from their fans, as you can see there wasnt many fans to celebrate the win, but the Dockers expect full houses next week. All- Australian Matthew Pavlich was in great form and kicked 5 goals, while Des Headland was dominating the midfield.
Savour of last years Prelim final against the Swans, Nick Davis was best afield with 31 possesions and kicking a goal.

Headline: Port Adelaide nudge out a Gallant Richmond

The Power have nudge out a Gallant Richmond team at Aami Stadium, both teams flocked with young kids, and the Kids didnt mess around, Jarrad OakleyNicholls, Matt Thomas were among the best afield for their respective teams while excitment machine Daynle Pearce was brialliant with 22 possesions and kicked 3 goals
