Mojo31 - Appreciation Thread

It appears that mojo31, an insightful and intelligent poster and moderator has retired from BigFooty.

I would like to step down as a Carlton moderator and let someone else take over. I wont nominate anybody and just let the people on this board decide who they want.

Good luck for the Blues this year and I do hope we can avoid the spoon this year. Thanks to everyone and I am sorry I have let people down here on BigFooty who have asked me questions and I have not been able to answer them. I tried my best but did not have enough time once I answered pms.

As I said on the drafts board...its sad how anybody with any knowledge whatsoever on bigfooty gets cut down by the trolls.

If a mod can't deal with trolls what hope for the rest of us?

I suppose the frustrating thing for mojo is he's actually trying to post with substance when clearly most on these boards are just looking for cheap shots.

I've suggested many times before having a board for intelligent football discussion (with zero tolerance for trolling) to cater for posters that want to make a sensible contribution - but unfortunately this has fallen on deaf ears.

Mojo, I think a blog might be more your speed as obviously there's people that value your opinion.

I had no influence in him leaving as i never replied to any of his threads.

I think it might be a carlton board thing and if he discontinues posting because of another poster than he is a pussy as far as im concerned.

To lose quality posters like Mojo31 because of the likes of stan is adding insult to injury.

If Mojo had been vindictive he could have made life less comfortable for the worthless dogs who had hounded him. I, for one, believe this is a tragedy and hope for all our sakes our loss is temporary.

Good work by Lonie_from_50 (another quality poster) for allowing us to at least acknowledge in some small way, the significant loss that we at big footy share.

Or he come back under another name and continue.

Either way there are plenty of people around the traps who can report in on TAC players and so forth.
