Cant wait.

i hope you don't rush to the HiFi and head to the metro instead Carlos, cos that's where Cog and my good self will be...

Better be Home Soon,

what time did they finish, do you know?

Jumping out of my skin for the Adelaide gig next week. Would be mega if Tim goes all around Australia with them. I hope they play "She Called Up", probably the best song off "Time On Earth". Either way, I don't care what they play, just to see Crowded House will be enough for me.

i'm thinking about following your plan carlos... there's still heaps of tickets on ebay, no one is buying them... so i might offer a dirty scalper $30 for a ticket that he isn't going to sell... then head to cog afterwards...

I was stoked to realise that i got my dates mixed up and am actually seeing the Crowdies tonight.

Still wouldn't mind going tomorrow as well though so if i coudl do the same and get some cheapies, i'd give it more than a second thought. But if not, more than happy to just settle for Crowdies tonight, Cog tomorrow night. :thumbsu:

Last night was absolutely brilliant. Had such a goood time, and the band looked like they did too! Great set list, flawless performance whilst still being very human (Neil in particular was in great form) and it was amazing how they managed to make an arena show still feel so intimate.

The whole thing was beautiful food for the soul. absolutely loved it!

Would love to go again tonight, but the 11pm rules out gettign to Cog in time i think.

Have a great time those who are going. You'll love it!

Can't wait for the show. This and The Police, 2 of my favourite bands reformed, it's unbelievable.

I guess we never thought we see them both again (or for the first time). Can't wait for tonight and I'm still pinching myself that The Police are coming and I have great seats.

Carlos has made me even more toey for tonight.

Well, saw the Adelaide gig last night and at the moment I've no hesitation in proclaiming it the best concert I've ever been to. I just love them.

We had quite a different set list to the ones posted, which was pretty cool

We didn't get Whispers and Moans (dammit!), Love You Til The Day I Die or Italian Plastic but got Hole In The River (I was so stunned and happy they played that), Not The Girl You Think You Are, In My Command (yay) and Message To My Girl!

Crowded House are utterly, utterly Godlike.

They were fantastic last night, I've been waiting for years & years to see them and thought I'd never get the chance. All those years of waiting paid off big time last night!

Setlist:

Private Universe
World Where You Live
Don't Stop Now
Fall At Your Feet
Say That Again
She Walked Her Way Down
Transit Lounge
In My Command
Silent House
Hole In The River
Don't Dream It's Over
Pour Le Monde
Message To My Girl
Distant Sun
Weather With You
---------------------
Locked Out
Something So Strong
Riders On The Storm - (Nick's Vocals)
Four Seasons In One Day
---------------------
When You Come
Not The Girl You Think You Are
Better Be Home Soon

There was about 10 songs at least that they didn't play that I would've loved them to but I can't complain about that setlist - especially In My Command, I was really hoping they'd play that. Message To My Girl! Wow! Incredible! I really enjoyed the new songs from Time On Earth, I reckon I was the only one where I was who knew all the words but I'm sure those songs will catch in time as all the old ones have. It was nice to see the Adelaide crowd finally get up at Distant Sun, I hate sitting down at gigs so it was nice to finally get on my feet & really get into it. There was a lot of banter & jokes between the boys and Greyhounds coming on to the stage before the 1st encore was just insane but very funny!

I can't wait 'til they come back, I really hope we don't have to wait long for it again!

ah you have my licking my lips Ray Nolan.

not the girl you think you are..was that with the band or just neil. thats one of the greatest songs man

and how did Transit Lounge translate? any female vocals onstage?

Savour it, it will be 2 of the most enjoyable hours you can imagine!

Not The Girl ... was with the whole band, Nick had the double bass out for this.

Transit Lounge was great, I was really hoping they would play it. There was no female vocals but Davey Lane can do some amazing things with his voice box and managed to mimic the female vocal exceptionally well. The also played the airport announcement over the top at the start as per the record version.
