What exactly is your point? You really have lost the plot.
What the previous poster said is correct, he is top 5 at Essendon for speed & endurance and easily the strongest, a very rare combination. He was obviously never a great player when young, hence not being drafted.
You start the poll.
Crameri started last year in terrific form and many journos had him in their halfway all aus team, he didn't have the greatest 2nd half of the year but that can be excused as he was injured a lot and losing Hurley, Gumbleton and Ryder really hurt our structure.
Clearly...
He had 4 goals kicked on him by a player that has played about 5 games in the last 3 years, while his team was winning by 100 points. Please don't try and say he did a good job.
I agree, nobody knows where he would be Collingwood (leaders), he could also be the best.
Playing ability, Swan has him at the moment, Brownlow winner and proven big game player, but Watson is closing and has had the better year to date.
I never said Jobe is a better player, I was commenting on a poster saying that Swan is a better leader.
Swan is top 4 players in the league IMO, I wouldn't have Watson that high.
Swan is a brilliant player, one of the best in the league, and I am certain he would train as hard or harder than almost any player in the game, but he loves to get drunk and party a lot, not exactly setting a great example as a leader is it?
On ground they are both brilliant players, lead from the front and can single handedly win games for their clubs.
Off field Sawn is a pi***d bogan hanging at clubs, fighting in the streets. That's the difference in leadership.
Hird, Voss and Bucks were far enough ahead of Worsfold as players to make up for the premiership coached. My biased opinion says Hird, but all 3 were absolute champions and it is pretty hard to argue one was better than the other.
Bag him all you want, but there is no way that if you were given the choice again today you would be selecting Conca in front of him. You know it's the truth.
lol, his clear strength is his football brain and unbelievable poise.
He is that far ahead of Conca it is ridiculous, already expected to preform like a 5-10 year player and the best thing is that he does that every week.
Would not swap him for any player from that draft, he has shown so much...
Ryder is a lot more brilliant but can go missing, Kreuzer will give his all every minute he is out there.
Both at their best, Ryder pretty easily, but in saying that I just about pick Kreuzer because of his attitude out on the field.
I've never been to a Carlton vs Collingwood match, but I know that rivalry is huge and built on history. No doubt the most famous rivalry.
The Carlton vs Essendon rivalry seems a newer rivalry built the last 25 years or so, but the hate between supporters is massive.
