Well yeah, Collingwood would be far more likely to jump on a Laverde or someone like that with pick 5 if Brisbane trades that for Beams. They wanted Bontempelli last year and Laverde seems the player most like him being a big bodied tall midfielder with good skills.

I personally think it's ****ing stupid of us to trade up. Sure McCartin will be gone and Wright might be but we're in dire need of tall defenders so Lever and Durdin will both be avaliable and are rated highly.
