What I find intriguing about Hardwick is that he has gone down the Dean Laidley path, picking up recycled players.
It didn't end well for Dean, how will it turn out for Hardwick?
Good call. After seven wins in eight games the Bombers didn't concern me at all. Had it not been for injury the 10-goal win I expected would have unfolded.:thumbsu:
How are the Angus Graham vs Todd Goldstein comparisons going?:D
In all seriousness, as much as I'd like to see North win Richmond should be able to take this match.
Tigers are in reasonable form, we're going to be flat as tacks, you would think, after last week, plus lots of changes.
If I was...
Of course, in round 2 we played the Pies at saturday lunchtime after playing Sunday arvo in Perth in real heat in round 1. Was hardly conducive to a good effort and our poor kicking on goal early didn't help.
Any chance he might concentrate on playing the game, rather than running around trying to gob off at, or wrestle with, any opposition player who happens to make physical contact with a Richmond player?
He's playing the best footy of his life, enough with the histrionics and chest puffing.
Whatever Baldrick. Say what you will about North, we didn't get close to the spoon last year. Like most WC fans, presumptious and arrogant are words you understand very well.
Good luck this year.
Dear god, you are possibly delusional.
Events of six months ago are CLEARLY relevant, because you have an almost identical team running out in a couple of weeks to the one that finished last. You can't completely overhaul a team during an off-season, you may have a couple of new faces in Round...
Oh yeah, you're a genius.
West Coast are the wooden spooner and therefore they are atrocious on exposed form.AS of the last official game played, they were the worst team in the comp, and by a fair bit.
We beat the Bulldogs last week, hardly say our pre-season form was woeful...but who cares...
I'll pay that too!:D
Reckon it will be uncomfortably close.
Eagles have a bit to prove, with Woosh trying to save his job, and playing at home will clearly help, as will a fully fit Cox.
We don't play that well in Perth generally either and have a few blokes missing and a few a tad underdone...
