Guess the difference is the Spice Girls hype machine burned fairly quick. They'd come and gone within about 4 years. TS has been a mega star for 15 years and keeps getting bigger. She is absolutely the biggest artist this century. Would Spice Girls have been even bigger had they had modern...

    triple J Hottest 100 of 2022

I thought it was undisputable that Kingsmill & Co are notorious for the push/pull of certain artists.

    triple J Hottest 100 of 2022

No doubt. Can see why Flume won. Popular sound, popular artist and a song that no doubt is soundtrack to a whole stack of instagirls thirst trap vids. JJJ have pushed certain artists/genres for eternity.

    triple J Hottest 100 of 2022

Inoffensive soft rock bands like Spacey Jane have always been popular on JJJ. They are the Something for Kate of this era

    Tool - FEAR INOCULUM

I think its great. On par with Lateralus for me. I will say I think it demands to be listened to as a whole album. Its one piece of work imo, and just listening to a random track here or there doesn't do it justice. Invincible is the track I keep coming back to as my favourite.

Sounds like depression took over. Split from his wife, begged her to come back, felt he was over touring the prodigy, had to sell his house as he couldnt afford to keep it. Sounds like it just all became too much. Very sad
