Might be a couple of the ones you're after in here - just abstract summarisations of guernseys:

Playing around with ESCFA data I started adding in little homemade graphics for the guernseys and they looked so cute I made a video. Half of it's probably wrong because I suck but did the best I could.

Went searching for some of these old Industrial League company names to find out about the actual entities they were representing, and all I can get is the footy score and you asking about them ahaha. Anyway, I've collected a little bit more info overnight just now and can offer this little bit...

I got curious about it the other day so, not knowing much about religious history, I googled the unity of these churches. Apparently this was only an Australian thing (although Canada might have done something similar), not every single Presbyterian or Methodist church took up the change (vast...

Yeah I get that they were up there in the C Grade finals (I was aware they were runners-up but sans a scoreline). What I'm asking is : is that South Yarra's 2nds team? Because in your table, they are also listed down the bottom of B Grade. I also notice there's no Richmond Amateurs team in 1991...

Love to know for sure which North Balwyn team was in the mix! Also whether Bulleen PM was a reference to another merger in the past, or simply the name of the team from the get-go!

That's an interesting state affairs with South Yarra ... close to last in B Grade while also close to premiers in C Grade! Are they the same club (1sts & 2nds?)?

Found that I had North Balwyn Presbyterian down as a predecessor to Canterbury-North Balwyn, but now it seems clear that it should have been North Balwyn Methodist. Now I am not certain there was a North Balwyn Presbyterian at all, considering the only reference which I'd ever found was that...

Connor7395 & Todman I've spent some time in the last few weeks with this ESCFA 1992 thing on my mind, wondering how I ended up with 4 divisions despite it clearly showing as only 3. I can't work out where I got this idea from, but I'm starting to wonder if it came to me via Chelt as I had been...

I spent the first 10 years not documenting my sources which has come back to bite me severely. Completely unsure where the 1992 grade lists came from. These days I doubt I was right about anything. The only extra info I still had not entered when I took the site offline was a few more premiers &...

Chadstone - CODFL & SESFL: Folded around 1986. Maroon guernsey, blue yoke, gold monogram. Played at Chadstone Park, Percy Trevyaud Park, East Caulfield Reserve. Ashburton-Chadstone - ES(P)CFA & SFL: merger of Ashburton Uniting & Chadstone Salesian. Might have changed name to just Ashburton...

Actually I think I found him under a new name : If the tag doesn't bring him out of the woodwork, I'll start a search. - Joe Mama Folks above are talking about NFL / DVFL history.

There was a guy who collated a massive amount of data for the Panton Hill FL (later incorporated into the DVFL). His account seems to have gone from here, but I might have in social media somewhere. I can try to alert him to this conversation, not sure what takes up his time these days. He might...

Apart from some details of appearances and premierships in the Werribee league, the only extra data I learnt was that INF were based at Chirnside Park. However for all I know, maybe they all played out of the same ground. I only ever got confirmation that INF, Metro Farm and Services contributed...

"Fitzroy Rovers", my records suggest, in 1982. They lost a grand a grand final to Werribee Centrals that year by exactly 100 points.

Very! Interesting qualification on the date of one of them, at the bottom. Most likely maybe just an off weekend ... or maybe a complete rejig midseason?

In 1951 for VFA Sub-Districts there were references to a "4ths" but I dunno if it was even open-age. My head just explodes with this stuff. Half the time I think I know something about the Saturday leagues and then I realise I'm thinking about Sunday leagues ... seriously need a tardis.

The only thing I know about 1948-49 was that I believe 1948 was Kew's final season in the Sub-District league. I also made some note suggesting that the Metropolitan FL might have been in some way connected. Very flakey notes though.

Ok no, not really lol. Only these three tiny tidbits: 1920 - The Wednesday Industrial league existed.[source] 1927 - The Industrial FL was formed. 1932 : Participating clubs were (complete) : - Abbotsford Brew, - Carlton Brewery, - Dunlop, - Goodschilds, - Harolds Shoes, - Havelock, -...

I used to have this big idea in my head of preserving or even regurgitating teams through abandoning the reserve grade where populations were depleting. The introduction of the reserve grade sure smashed the proliferation of leagues and teams when it metastisised, with smaller towns being the...

I think there were two Deepdenes : Deepdene & Deepdene YCW. The latest reference I have to either of these, is 1962 in the ESFL as you said (Deepdene). Deepdene YCW seem to have played in the CYMS league, at least as late as 1959. But after that, nothing.
