Both those things are in the game and in the manual. We don't know exactly how they will work yet but I assume just very similar to real life. We do know that potential draftees will show their peak rating but not their current rating when drafting them.

First part of the trailer had me a bit worried but than all of a sudden it really improved (maybe just a better selection of highlights) and looks pretty good to me.
