Anyone know what happened to HH? (Ie why he didn’t play after half time)

Thanks for the reports. Who was Reeves up against? Looked on paper a guy making his vfl debut - who he should absolutely dominate. Good to hear our forwards showing something. Is not the easiest path onto the hff however for butler/bennetts etc.

Would love to know what the coaches think. He just can’t help himself. Needs to turn that into 20 touches and 4 fights. Sicily used to be the same when younger but still got the ball.

Denver’s had 3 touches. Needs to focus on having an impact not just starting stuff - he’s not playing suburban footy. Lots of missed chances by both sides.

What’s your thinking on why this is happening? Isn’t long meant to have a massive tank? Is he going all out in first half but at unsustainable levels?

Is this the first time DGB has started forward? I recall every other time he’s gone forward it’s been late in games when the game is largely over (but someone correct me). With Kosi dropped DGB wouldn’t have to show a heap at BH to find a way into 22.

Crusing. Not a lot of defensive work rate or contesting but getting on end of quick transitions. Missed two gettable goals. Wouldn’t say he’s banging the door down for an afl recall.

General play has been pretty even but we’ve got them on the fast break multiple times for goals. Both team’s missed a few.

Also needs to take the game on. First instinct seems to be kick sideways way too often.

Thought we’ve looked a bit scrappy around the contest. Greene/chad very good at getting on end of fast breaks (front running or good play). A couple of contests from chad that he could have done better. Ramsden had an uncanny knack of getting ruck free kicks. Love JOS intent. Possibly lack...

Surely if ball spent most of time in Willi’s forward 50 in last quarter DGB would have a heap of opportunities to impact?

Thanks for the report. Do either of these guys look like draftable prospects / have some clear afl qualities? MSD seems a lot thinner this year.

Reckon HH is also being played at hbf to get him to kick the ball more. He dishes off by hand a bit too much.

Any idea if will be up forward or down back? Any idea if BMac has a tank? (How did he go in preseason running?) Most wings these days are elite runners.

With the afl side playing giants, crows, dogs in coming weeks this game is a great chance for players to make a case for afl selection. Not sure if cats vfl team is any good however - smashed last week.

Any idea what quality of opponent ramsden had? (Given was a vfl practice game and depth in talls can be patchy).

Why is this on at 6pm on a Sunday given there’s no afl this week? (Is it aflw clash?). Seems a missed opportunity to put on a prime time slot as will be streamed by afl.

What’s going on? (Not watching) Seems like our worst performance of year so far. Is it a simple matter of too many young hawks and not enough of our very good vfl players?

A rookie chance end of year? Showing some development. Probably more physically advanced than ramsden. Clubs always looking for rucks - even an average one can get you a draft pick.

Where’s Seamus and long? Interested to see how DGB goes at the lower level. North vfl are pretty average so should be a win given our BH guys are good.
