Fantastic as always Quigs. Just like the Melbourne Cup, many of us come in and like to think we know these players, but yourself and few of the others on this board put us to shame. As you said in the OP, the real value in this is to come back on draft day and read the descriptions of the guys...

Agree. "Conjured" is one way of putting it. Ripped off is another. They may have swapped around the order, but the best thing about these mock drafts is reading the descriptions and reasoning behind the order and it's not even theirs! Pisspoor.

I can't grasp how some people rate these mocks based on who their club "got", rather than the information and effort that goes into writing the profile. That's the real gold. Especially (as Demonheart says) after the draft when you go back and find more out about the players your club drafted...

Finally, a mock with some geniune thought + knowledge behind it. Looking forward to mocks from some of the other phantom drafters.

I do enjoy how people doing these manage to wind up with a player they really like at their club. Not knocking the effort that goes into them, but always gives me a little chuckle.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a few Qld boys wind up at Tigerland with McRae joining you guys.
