Turbocat Player and club can agree to demote a player to the rookie list such as the cases like Rhys O'Keefe (Carlton) and Anthony Long (Essendon) that I can think of myself. Some clubs will (re) rookie players for salary cap purposes such as Essendon with Jay Neagle.
